The tests are CE approved (CE1434) as the home test and are designed for you to test yourself at home. The test is an antigen quick test of the same type used for quick tests at test centers.

This corona test has been analysed at the Dr Risch Laboratory in Switzerland, where it was validated as reliable and safe to use. In the validation analysis, NewGene was tested against both PCR tests and quick tests and from the manufacturer is given the following: Sensitization 97.1%, Specificity 99.2% and Accuracy 98.4%.

The test is very easy and quick to perform. Take a swab sample from the front of the nose. The cotton swab is taken into the test tube, after which 4 drops from the test tube are transferred to the test cassette. The result can be read already after 15 minutes. The result is read as shown in the picture.
